ABOUT THE CENTER

The UC Washington Center (UCDC) is a multi-campus residential, instructional and research center that provides students and faculty from the University of California with opportunities to study, research, work, and live within Washington’s rich cultural, political and international heritage. The program is housed in an 11-story building in a lively neighborhood a short walk from the White House with room for more than 270 students.

Getting to the UC Washington Center
The UC Washington Center is located on Rhode Island Avenue between 16th and 17th Streets.

Metro: The Center can be reached via Metro on the Red or Orange/ Blue/ Silver lines. It is just a few blocks from the Farragut North, Farragut West, and Dupont Circle Metro stations.

Public Parking: There is street and garage parking nearby. Also, there are covered garages in the surrounding blocks on M Street and 17th Street. Nearby hotels such as the Beacon Hotel, Courtyard Washington Embassy Row, The Dupont Circle Hotel, The Churchill Hotel near Embassy Row, and The Jefferson provide valet parking to their guests.
