The University of California’s connection to Washington, DC, extends back decades, but 25 years ago, that connection gained a permanent home with the opening of the UC Washington Center. Since 2001, the UC Washington Center has served as a gateway between California and the nation’s capital.
For 25 years, the Center has brought together students, faculty, alumni, policymakers, and partners to advance experiential learning, leadership, research, and public service.
Since our opening, we have become the home of the UCDC Program (which includes UC Berkeley Cal in the Capitol, UCLA Quarter in Washington and the UC Davis Washington Program, and former programs that have since been renamed like UCLA CAPP) as well as the University of California Federal and Governmental Relations team.

We are honored that University of California President James B. Milliken will join us for this special evening.
Together, we’ll celebrate 25 years of student and alumni achievement, career readiness, and the relationships that have connected the University of California with Washington, DC. As we look ahead to the next 25 years, we are proud to be presenting the inaugural Senator Dianne Feinstein Internship Provider Award to an organization that carries forward her enduring legacy of public service, mentorship, and exceptional commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for UC students.
Join us for a food and wine reception, reconnect with the UCDC community, meet UC leadership, staff and faculty, alumni, and friends from across UC, and help us kick off a year of celebrating the Center’s past, present, and future.
The UC Washington Center is proud to offer 4 levels of sponsorship options for the 25th Anniversary Reception.
