PAYING FOR UCDC

Participating in UCDC costs basically the same amount as it would to stay on campus for year. Students are eligible for financial aid on campus, as well as a variety of scholarships and fellowships.  The UCDC program partners with campuses and the UC Office of the President to offer our own Basic Needs progarm as well. At UCDC, we ensure our Academic Internship Program is accessible to every student, enabling them to thrive in their early career opportunities. We demonstrate this

commitment through the following initiatives:

  • Commitment to Student Well-being: UCDC invests over $100,000 annually in its Basic Needs & Wellness Program.

  • Basic Needs Pantry: All students have access to our well-stocked pantry, offering pantry staples, fresh food, and hygiene products.

  • Mental Health Support: Students can access cost-free online mental health counseling services.

  • Unlimited Transportation: Each student receives a UPass, providing free, unlimited use of Metro bus and rail during the fall, winter, and spring terms.

  • Support for Unpaid Internships Program (SUIP): Students in unpaid internships can receive financial awards up to $1,000 from UCDC to help cover expenses
