Course Database

Every UCDC course is approved for upper-division UC credit at all nine undergraduate campuses. At a minimum, the units you earn here count toward the total you need to graduate. In many cases, they also count toward specific requirements.

This database is a helpful resource but covers only a small fraction of majors, departments, and courses. It lists the few cases where a UC department has set up in advance how a UCDC course applies to a major, minor, or graduation requirement. Most majors and most courses are not listed here. Filter by campus and department to see whether yours is.

If your department or course is not listed
This is typical! Your course still earns upper-division UC credit. Choose the courses that interest you, then bring the course description or syllabus to your major or academic advisor and ask how the course can apply to your requirements. Departments approve UCDC courses this way every term. Start that conversation early so guidance is in place before the term begins.

If your department or course is listed
Each entry shows the credit type, any course equivalency, the approval process, and notes. Some courses apply automatically, and others call for a conversation with your advisor or a petition. Confirm the details with your home campus advisor before making final selections.
