UCDC COVID-19 Response

COVID-19 Requirements for Non-Residents

Rev. 8/26/2022

The UCDC COVID-19 Response Team continues to monitor the pandemic situation closely, including information and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local public health officials, our own UC infectious disease experts, and other scientific sources. Regular COVID-19 testing is an essential part of UCDC’s COVID-19 Prevention Plan to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The following policies and protocols are subject to change.

UCDC Masking Policy (Update August 12, 2022)

Masking will continue to be required in academic classes and in group meetings and events that exceed twenty persons or in smaller groups where physical distancing cannot be maintained.

·      Additional meeting and event COVID-19 protocols will be published later this month

Masking is not required in all other spaces in the Washington Center but is recommended.

Masking may be required by any individual in their office or workspace.

Information about masking:

·      “one-way” masking using an N95 or KN95 mask provides protection for the wearer, even when others are not wearing masks

·       UCDC has N95 and KN95 masks available to all on-site staff and students

·       Signage will be provided if an event space is designated for mask removal while actively eating and drinking.

UCDC Surveillance Screening

Everyone must complete the UCDC Screen before arriving at the Washington Center.
