From the "Tools" menu of your browser, click on the "Internet Options" entry Click on the tab labeled "Connections" Click on the "LAN Settings" button Check the checkbox labeled "Use automatic configuration script" Enter the following URL into the field labeled "Address" http://webproxy.ucsd.edu/proxy.pl Remove checkmarks from "Automatically detect settings" and "Use a proxy server" if present. The "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" menu should look like the image below. Click OK. Click OK on the "Internet Options" menu.

Note: Studentlink e-mail is not available through the UCSD proxy server. To access e-mail you must turn proxy services off by unchecking the checkbox labeled "Use automatic configuration script" and clicking OK.
