  1. From the "Tools" menu of your browser, click on the "Internet Options" entry
  2. Click on the tab labeled "Connections"
  3. Click on the "LAN Settings" button
  4. Remove checkmarks from "Automatically detect settings" and "Use automatic configuration script" if present.
  5. Check the checkbox labeled "Use a proxy server for your LAN..."
  6. Enter "proxy.ucr.edu" into the field labeled Address: and "8080" in the Port: field.
  7. The "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" menu should look like the image below. Click OK.
  8. Click OK on the "Internet Options" menu.
