From the "Tools" menu of your browser, click on the "Internet Options" entry Click on the tab labeled "Connections" Click on the "LAN Settings" button Check the checkbox labeled "Use automatic configuration script" Enter the following URL into the field labeled "Address" http://proxy.uci.edu/proxy_config.pac Remove checkmarks from "Automatically detect settings" and "use a proxy server" if present. The "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" menu should look like the image below. Click OK. Click OK on the "Internet Options" menu.
