UC Washington Center Summer Science Program
Expand your horizons this summer! Come to Washington, DC to take advantage of the many opportunities that our nation's capital has to offer you. Located in the heart of Washington DC, the UC Washington Center provides an opportunity
to engage in research based internships, learn about the making of national science policy and meet members of the international science community.
The Center is within walking distance of many major science associations and foundations that offer weekly speaker series, the latest research news and meetings. Also, science focused forums will be held at the Center with national and UC scientists and organizations. Past UC administrators and graduates hold top positions at Department of Energy’s Office of Science, National Academy of Sciences, National Science Foundation and the House Committee on Science. Most importantly you will be at the axis of where science policy, funding and research are debated and created.
