The Residential Services Office is
committed to helping student residents make the most of their
experience in Washington, DC and to make the Center a comfortable
place in which to live. The Residential Services Staff is directly
responsible for the governance and well being of the Center's
residents, and actively supports its academic mission. We
seek to develop a sense of community and to encourage students
to exercise their creativity in an intellectually challenging
and stimulating environment.
The Residential Services Staff includes the Resident Manager
and Community Assistants. Community Assistants (CAs)
are the Center's primary residential resource and assist residents
with problems or concerns that occur while living in the building.
The Residential Services office is located in Room 413A on the
south side of the 4th floor elevators.
Hours of operation and the monthly CA duty schedules are
posted outside of the Residential Services office. The
Residential Emergency Line (202) 415-9275 is answered
24 hours a day for emergencies. For non-emergencies please, call (202) 974-6215 during normal operating hours.
The Center is also partnering with Parkhurst Associates to provide mental health services to students. The mental health professionals of Parkhurst Associates are available on-site twice a week, in their offices at 1755 S. St., NW or by phone at (202) 234-7738. Emergency and crisis mental health services are available by calling (866) 551-1456.
