How to Reserve A Space

Requests must be received 1 full business day in advance to allow processing and notification to security.

To reserve a parking space, please complete the parking application below and email it to parking@ucdc.edu. If approved, you will receive a confirmation notification by email.

The parking rate is $12/day. This rate is for any portion of a day up to 24 hours.

Complete a Parking Form

Directions: From 17th St. NW, turn east onto Rhode Island Ave., NW.  The UCDC building is the second building on the right (south) side of the street at 1608 Rhode Island Ave., NW.  Turn into the alley between the UCDC building and the Marriott Courtyard Hotel. Make the first right into the next alley; the garage will be on your right. Use the intercom located at the garage entrance to buzz and announce yourself to security.  

*Remember to go directly to security once you have parked and show your UCDC ID and register any guests.

PaymentPayment must be made prior to use of the parking garage by check/money order made out to “UC Regents” or credit/debit card.  Please complete payment at the Residential Life Office prior to parking.

Guests of residents may park at the UC Washington Center, but the parking application and payment will be made through the student resident.


The University of California assumes no responsibility for damages to any vehicle or contents by reason of fire, theft, vandalism, or any other cause..  Please observe all published rules and regulations for University parking.  The University reserves the right to cancel parking privileges without cause at any time and to issue refunds in accordance with policy.  STUDENT residents must stop at the security desk to gain access to the parking garage via the elevator.  After entering the parking garage STUDENT residents must stop at the security desk to show their UC Washington Center ID.  STUDENT residents must register with security all guests riding in their vehicle immediately upon entering the building.
