On April 28, 2006 legal experts, political scientists, lobbyists, journalists and elected officials came together to consider the merits of current and proposed lobbying regulations in a 1 day conference at the UC Washington Center. Do current regulations adequately protect against political corruption? Should reforms extend to the role that lobbyists play in raising campaign money? These and other related questions were covered by our panels of scholars and practitioners.
