Monday Forum: Irene Glowinski, Deputy Director, NIH

Irene Glowinsk is the Deputy Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health. She is an expert on public health policy, including Ebola, influenza and the Zika virus. She is a University of Michigan alumna with her Ph.D. in Pharmacology. The University of Michigan invites you to eat a light supper and hear Dr. Glowinski discuss how she manages a billion-dollar budget, hundreds of staff members, and communication with Congress and the public.
