| Description: |
This class is designed as an introduction to the wide spectrum of performing arts, visual arts, museums, monuments and libraries in Washington DC. It will include classroom lectures, meetings with leading DC artists and arts scholars, tours of museums & libraries and participation in several performances. In addition, students will have first-hand exposure to the planning, preparation and performance of a recent work by the instructor which will be performed at the National Gallery of Art during the term. |
