| Description: |
The goal of this class is to familiarize students with research and debates concerning representation in American politics. While many courses focus on a particular political institution, e.g. Congress or the Courts, all political institutions are to some degree representative bodies influenced by citizens’ wishes. In this course we will both examine thinks’ views of how representation should work and explore how representation actually occurs in the contemporary U.S. |
