Welcome to the online application for the UC Davis Washington Academic Program, a web based application designed to make our application process easy and convenient.
You can get started right now or wait until later. You are required to create a PIN and Password (see instructions below) in order to view and complete the application. You may access your application and change answers as many times as you need before you submit. We encourage you to have pertinent information collected in advance of starting your application.
Please carefully read the instructions that appear throughout the application pages. After you submit your application, you will not be able to make any changes to it other than to update personal information and references.
By the application deadline, you must submit your online application electronically.
On the day after the application deadline, you must report to the UC Davis Washington Program Office, 2nd Floor, South Hall to:
- hand-deliver a copy of your transcript
- sign-up for a personal interview
- ensure that all recommendation letters have been received at the Program Office
- complete a standard Student Judicial Affairs release form
To apply you are asked to provide:

a range of personal information about yourself that includes your addresses and telephone numbers, current academic standing, need for financial aid and previous experiences, etc.; |
 |
three internship choices; acceptance into the program does not guarantee placement in the internship of your choice. Our staff will work closely with you to complete a cover letter and resume needed to apply for the internships. |
 |
two academic references (2 Professors; or 1 Professor and 1 Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, or employer who can comment on your qualifications); |
 |
transcripts from all undergraduate colleges/universities attended (transcripts should be hand-delivered on the DAY AFTER THE APPLICATION DEADLINE to the UC Davis Washington Program, 2nd Floor, South Hall); |
 |
and an essay. |
