UC Washington Center

This long running series provides an in-depth look into the relationship between the Press and the Presidency through interviews with past and present members of the White House Press Corps, White House staff, scholars and others. It examines the place of the press in our democracy and how this is reflected in the information that the White House presents to the public. It also looks into how presidents explain their actions and how news organizations and even individual reporters view themselves as participants in the democratic process.

This is a joint project of the UC Washington Center and Towson University.
Presenter: Martha Kumar.
